Asking people to shave their head is a huge ask. So our new approach is all about supercharging fundraisers’ efforts and bigging up their moment. We’ve given Brave the Shave its very own ‘Live Week: 8-14 August’ – encouraging people to sign up to shave their heads together and share their big moment with the nation.
As part of this we created ads to encourage people to sign up that ran throughout the summer and highlighted the moment between anticipation and when the clippers are raised to their head for the first time. These were accompanied by short social animations to build hype in the wake of live week. The content spanned 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 ratios.
